Whew!
Ok, it's been a few weeks since the ending of the campaign, and the dust has finally settled.
First, if you followed us on socials, you will know we went to GenCon to demo the game and had an absolute blast! Thank you so very much to all the amazing people who came by and gave us their thoughts and feedback. We were overjoyed to hear just how much you loved the game. It was an amazing time!
Also, we are happy to report that there were no major problems with Kickstarter and getting funding transferred, which means we can get started!
Next up on the list is getting the Founders' Pack art created! If you are part of the Drifter or Immortal tier, keep an eye on your Kickstarter messages for a message from me (Steve) - I will be sending out the first-step message about getting your art and card items created!
Otherwise, feel free to come hang out in our Discord, as that is where I will do most of the communication for our Drifter and Immortal tiers!

Whew.
What a wild ride! All of us are so thankful for the love and support we have received, and we are thrilled to have you take part in the dreams that are Splintered Lands and Civil Dawn Games.
Up next, we have a bunch of admin stuff to get done, and we will be very focused on that for the next month or so.
In the coming weeks, we will open up our pledge manager (BackerKit) for all the final details and make available whatever items we can fund along with the base game and Founders' Pack.
To our Drifters and Immortals, we will be reaching out to get started on your art creation and bringing you into the world of Splintered Lands!

The big question first -
Yes, we will be creating the Founders' Pack. I would be lying if I said we aren't a little sad about not being able to unlock more items, but this is a place where we as a company can learn and grow. We definitely want to look at how we can improve for our next Kickstarter. So, if you have feedback for us, we are here to listen!
That being said, adversity and bumps in the road have never deterred us before. Jeff, Michael, and I are fully committed to creating games for years to come. It's something we've been passionate about for a long time, and we don't mind having to do it the hard way.
Along with that, it's important to know our goals. Civil Dawn was always created to be a publishing company, to support indie creators, and to create a healthy market for your local game store. That last part is the reason we didn't offer huge discounts on Kickstarter, as that typically hurts retail stores who can't compete with those discounts.
Once the Kickstarter is over and all the financial items are worked out, we will get started right away on Founders' Pack art creation and getting the rule book into a print-ready state.
Thank you to everyone for supporting us this far, and we have one final request -- help us with our final 48-hour push! Tell your friends, family, and neighbors! Come join the Splintered Lands!
Lastly, if you are going to GenCon this year, we will be in the playtest hall adjacent to the main dealer hall!

Digital Rulebook and Playthrough available!

We have had several requests for access to the rulebook and a digital playthrough. It took a bit of doing because Youtube didn't want to let me upload a video that long at first, but we finally have those attached!

This was our very first digital walkthrough and Livestream where we played the game, dove into its concepts, and did our best to explain some overall mechanics and design choices. Hello Everyone,
We are now 1 week into the campaign and we are pumped to start unlocking content! There have been a couple questions about the founders pack, and I am happy to say that regardless of how the campaign goes, we do intend to produce the founders pack.
